I did resolve many years ago never to write anything about same-sex marriages and abortions. While I do have very strong opinions on those issues, I am enough of an intellectual contortionist to be able to articulate arguments for and against both of them; but I can contribute nothing towards resolution. They are matters more of viscera than cranium. William Faulkner wrote, "We think as we feel." I would add, "We believe as we need." So be it. I do like anchovies.
